Mr John Currie is a 35 year old gentleman who was referred for an ERCP for common bile duct stones removal following an ultrasound scan, which confirmed the diagnosis. Mr Currie has come in today to ask some questions about ERCP because he's never had an invasive procedure before and he doesn't feel it was adequately explained by his previous doctor. Please answer all of Mr Currie's questions and address his concerns.
